Our new school is looking for individuals who excel at flexible and creative thinking; who see themselves as learners rather than lecturers; who have excellent content mastery as well as solid teaching experience; who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, creative, and eager to join a community that is passionate about supporting advanced young learners.
For the 2024-25 school year, you will assist the lead teacher in providing instruction to a maximum of 12 elementary students (grades 1 through 5) while fostering an effective, engaged, student-centered learning environment. Opportunities for growth and leadership are significant as the school continues to expand. Our class sizes are small by design, to allow you the time and space to focus intensively on our young learners and to promote a supportive peer environment.

YOU MUST HAVE:
- Experience working with children.
- An appreciation of children as unique and respected members of our learning community.
- A willingness to create differentiated learning paths for a variety of learners.
- The ability to communicate clearly in both written and spoken communication.
IT WOULD BE AMAZING IF YOU HAVE:
- A degree in education or related field.
- Experience working with gifted and/or special needs children.
- A joyful attitude toward children and boundless amounts of patience for their questions and quirks.
- Familiarity with inquiry-based learning and hands-on, experiential teaching methods
- Collaborative mindset and a commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
This is a part-time role, between 12 and 30 hours/week, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 pm, Monday through Friday.
