About Da Vinci Academy
Our Mission
We love, challenge, and allow our learners to grow at their own pace. We foster growth by encouraging risks, regardless of the outcome. Every child is valued as an individual, and at Da Vinci Academy, we provide learning centered around the needs of the children, not the convenience of the adults.
We encourage our community of learners to engage in academic challenges, nurture their love of learning, and cultivate their humanity so they can serve, inspire, and create impact.
Our micro school is committed to a joyful learning culture where hard work, persistence, inquiry, and critical thinking are celebrated. We keep alive students’ innate curiosity and love of learning. We partner with organizations beyond our walls, creating programs rich in sciences, technology, engineering, creativity and arts. We seek to grow students’ emotional intelligence and enable them to become the best version of themselves. We prepare students with the content knowledge, critical thinking, and self-advocacy skills needed to be successful throughout their education and well beyond.
Our History
Founded in 2024 to meet the educational needs of unique students, including gifted and talented learners with multiple exceptionalities, Da Vinci Academy envisions a world in which educators engage students in meaningful learning, in which skilled and knowledgeable teachers serve as kind and caring learning guides, and in which students can become the best version of themselves, given their unique capacities, needs, and passions. We envision classrooms, alive with motion and hands-on learning, in which students support each other’s learning, cheering each other on for persisting through academic challenges.
Our Faculty
Our faculty members are dedicated professionals who are passionate about teaching and committed to helping our students succeed. With 20+ years of experience as educators each and a deep knowledge of their subjects, they provide a top-notch education to each student.

How and Why We're Different
We believe every child should be given the opportunity to learn at his or her own pace, in a supportive environment where they are challenged, encouraged, and loved. Every single decision we have made for Da Vinci has been based on this belief.
We created a school that we couldn't find anywhere in the area, one that has:
- small class sizes (12 or fewer)
- ample opportunity for movement
- highly-qualified, trained, and licensed teachers
- supportive peers
- individualized learning progressions, and
- a culture of joyful learning and celebration of persistence.
